UNICEF Gala Chicago
UNICEF USA does amazing work holding fundraisers all over the country to raise money toward providing crucial health, nutrition, and education to children at-risk across the world. It has been an honor to have a long-standing relationship with their special events department to design the look and feel, save-the-dates, invitations, and day-of materials for several fundraising events. The UNICEF Gala Chicago, one of their biggest events of the year, focused on creating an experience similar to a Moroccan bazaar. The creative brief focused on capturing the spirit of the theme. This was executed by introducing Moroccan-inspired patterns and line art to create an aesthetic that felt both high-end and lively, while honoring UNICEF’s global presence.

Invitation
The invitation design consisted of multiple pieces brought together by a card sleeve adorned with metallic silver line art and a die-cut window, showing a sneak peek of its contents.
Program
This day-of piece features a similar die-cut window used on the invitation without the semi-translucent sheet, revealing the bright exuberance of a child that has been impacted by UNICEF. This visual was intended to remind gala attendees of UNICEF’s mission, and the smile that can be given to so many more children. Throughout the program the clean, elegant design kept focus on the photography and the children in-need.
